I have known about the concept of a healthy nutrition, but often caved to my culinary lusts of the average American. Fast food, soda, pizza, Oreos etc were unhealthy cuisine I had a hard time resisting. Today at the end of my workout class, I woke up from this deception. I asked Court McGee, a UFC fighter based in my gym, what was his nutrition. He explained that clean eating is a lifelong commitment. The quality of his training is greatly affected by what he ate the day before. I realized that I have to sacrifice a little, to gain what I ultimately want. If I want to even reach the level of skill and physique that Court possess, I must do the little things that matter the most. Nothing worth achieving in life is easy to obtain. Most people rather take short cuts rather than overcome challenges with effort and determination. This is your life. How do you want to use it?
